Lingaa (Tamil)

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth returns to the screen for this breathtaking action thriller. It's been four years since veteran Tamil cinema icon Rajinikanth's last major live-action performance in 'Endhiran'. But now he explodes back on to the screen with dual roles in this $25 million action epic. Plot details are under wraps, but the spectacular trailer reveals that the film's entire huge budget is up on screen for all to see, from vast crowd scenes to incredible stunts. Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty are cast as female leads. The film also marks Rajinikanth's third collaboration with director K.S. Ravikumar after their huge 90s hits 'Muthu' and 'Padayappa'. This epic project kicked off back in May with a pooja ceremony at Chamundi Hills in Mysuru. Its lengthy 130 day shoot took in a variety of scenic locations, with Jog Falls in Karnataka forming a spectacular backdrop to the exciting climax. Music is by the great A.R. Rahman
