Ambitious Manhattan executive Bart Hughes has pretty much got it made. He and his beautiful wife and young son live in an exquisite Upper East Side brownstone that Bart himself renovated entirely by hand. And he's just been handed a difficult project at work, which could advance him considerably. But when his wife and son take a trip to Vermont, a most unwanted intruder joins Bart at home, a being which will challenge all his wits, cunning, and brute force.
