Directed by Hikari, who also co-wrote the script with Stephen Blahut, the movie has been in development since 2019. The story will come to life with production beginning this spring in Japan. The project is produced by Hikari and Shin Yamaguchi, along with Eddie Vaisman and Julia Lebedev of Sight Unseen Productions.
