Roads to Freedom Season 1

Based on Sir Antony Beevor’s books, the main aim of the project is to bring fresh and unique perspectives to war stories with inclusions of viewpoints from men, women and children from Russia, Germany, France and other countries across the globe. The show gives them as much weight as characters from English-speaking western countries as opposed to much of the genre which has been dominated by American and British male perspectives.
