Down on the surface, fleets of intelligent machines were left to maintain the world and supply the towers with everything we needed. Since then, everything ran on its own. No one remembers how it works anymore. The city above the clouds is the only world we know.
But one day, the flow of resources simply... stopped. The machines fell silent. No signal. No explanation. Hunger and cold are creeping up the towers.
